Teija Sarajärvi has been appointed SVP, human resources, and a member of the Hutamaki, Espoo, Finland, group executive team reporting to Jukka Moisio, CEO, effective October 1. She joins Huhtamaki from OP Financial Group, where she has been EVP, human resources, and a member of the executive board. Prior to OP Financial Group, Sarajärvi has worked in various human resources executive positions in Metso, Nokia, and ABB.

Sari Lindholm, SVP, human resources, and a member of the group executive team decided to leave Huhtamaki at the end of this past month to pursue new career opportunities outside of the company. "I would like to take the opportunity to thank Sari for her service with the company over the past 12 years as well as her contribution to the group's current success, and wish her all the best in her future challenges," said Jukka Moisio, CEO.

Anne-Mari Jutila, a human resources director for the Foodservice Europe-Asia-Oceania business segment, will act as an interim group HR director until Teija Sarajärvi joins Huhtamaki.

Following the aforementioned changes, the members of the group executive team are:

Jukka Moisio (chairman), CEO
Thomas Geust, CFO
Sami Pauni, SVP, corporate affairs and legal, group general counsel
Teija Sarajärvi, SVP, human resources (as of October 1)
Clay Dunn, EVP, North America
Olli Koponen, EVP, molded fiber
Eric Le Lay, EVP, foodservice Europe-Asia-Oceania
Shashank Sinha, EVP, flexible packaging.
