Charles J. Green, known by many in the paper industry as a "guru" on paper curl and how to eliminate or at least minimize it, passed away on April 28 after a short illness. Active in several key TAPPI committees and Standards, Thomas developed and maintained the Papercom.com website (available to all interested parties) where he kept his extensive work and research on paper curl.

Charles is predeceased by his sister, Stella, and infant brother, John. He leaves his loving wife of 56 years, Marlene; children, Thomas (Kristen) of Colorado, John of Texas, and Carol; granddaughters, Jessica and Stephany; siblings, Valarie and Joseph; honorary daughter, PattiAnn Schultz; sisters and brothers-in-law; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Charles was a retiree of Xerox and a member of the Tennis Club of Rochester.
