China’s Pulp Imports Rise in September

China’s September pulp imports were up 10% y/y—BHK (bleached hardwood kraft) +15%, BSK (bleached softwood kraft) up 10%—according to the China Customs Bureau and Brian McClay & Associates Inc., Montreal, Canada.

Data for dissolving pulp, UKP (unbleached kraft pulp), BSK, BHK, and BCTMP (bleached chemi-thermomechanical pulp)/high yield are shown in the following table.
