Could A Real Car Cross A Bridge Made of Corrugated Board?

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

A French television challenge recently showed a car crossing a bridge made of corrugated cardboard. Filmed at a corrugated plant in Oyonnax, France, where the elements of the bridge were made with 100% recycled paper recovered by the producer’s own mills, the one-ton car crossed over several times while the bridge easily stood the test.

To see how it all unfolds, watch the dailymotion.com recording of the episode (in French). The footage of the car making its repeat crossings on the corrugated bridge occurs at around 12 minutes into the video.
