Russia Exports 1.36 Million Metric Tons of Pulp through Q3/13

Through September of this year, wood pulp exports from Russia totaled 1.36 million metric tons, worth $716.5 million, according to the Federal Customs Service of Russia. Some 1.31 million metric tons of wood pulp, worth $685.1 million were shipped to other countries, and 51,700 metric tons, worth $31.4 million, were shipped to CIS countries.

Exports of Russian newsprint for the nine month period totaled 770,300 metric tons, worth $407.3 million. Some 663,800 metric tons of newsprint, worth $344.9 million, were shipped to other countries, and 106,500 metric tons were shipped to CIS countries, worth $62.4 million.
