TAPPI-PIMA Student Summit "On a Roll"

The 2013 TAPPI-PIMA Student Summit will be "On a Roll" this weekend, January 19-21, in Raleigh, N.C., USA, as students take advantage of this rare opportunity to meet face-to-face with industry leaders and gain valuable information on employment opportunities and career development within the industry. This year's Summit is being attended by 200-plus students, some 70 more than last year's record attendance in Jacksonville, Fla. The 2013 Summit also has more companies conducting student interviews that ever before.
This year's event features area tours and engineering competition, in addition to the recruitment interviews. The tours include a Sonoco recycling plant, Voith Fabrics in Wilson, N.C., and the North Carolina State University Pulp and Paper Laboratory. The 2013 Summit is being hosted by North Carolina State University, and faculty and students will be helping with on-site administrative details.
