TAPPI is excited to announce that Dan Denowski will be joining Tom Holm as an instructor for the 2026 Introduction to Pulp and Paper Technology Course, taking place January 12–15, 2026, in St. Petersburg, FL. Together, these two industry veterans bring more than a century of combined experience to help attendees gain a stronger foundation in pulp and paper manufacturing.
 
Holm, owner of Yggdrasil Pulp Consulting LLC, has worked across four continents, providing process analysis, capital justification, and training for mills around the world. His extensive background includes technical and operational roles with Willamette, Weyerhaeuser, and Domtar, and he continues to lead as Chairman of the Perry County Port Authority and Hoosier Southern Railroad.
 
Joining him this year is Denowski, who brings decades of hands-on experience from EnzyPro, ResourceWise, and 24 years at Buckman, where he supported operations in over 30 countries and more than 800 paper machines. His expertise in packaging, enzymatic solutions, and training makes him an invaluable addition to the course faculty.
