Papermaking Fundamentals Student Research Discussion

During the October 23rd Papermaking Fundamentals Committee Meeting, students from NC State and GA Tech and former TAPPICon Poster Competitors will join us to discuss their research on Decarbonization and Dewatering.  Anyone is welcome to join the first half of this committee meeting where they will present their research and take questions.  You are also welcome to stay for the second half of meeting to discuss the business side if the Papermaking Fundamentals Committee Meeting if you wish.  
 
The students topics are:
 
"Decarbonizing the US Pulp and Paper Industry: Uncovering Emissions Hotspots and Pathways to Low-Carbon Production" -  with an emphasis on dewatering efficiency - Maria Gonzalez, NC State
 
"Improved Mechanical Dewatering Using Modified Felt Design" - Preksha Vichare, GA Tech
