TAPPI Opens Registration for 2026 Pulp and Paper-Training Courses in St. Petersburg, Florida

TAPPI is excited to announce that registration is officially open for two of its most popular technical training courses, the Kraft Recovery Operations Course (KROS) and the Introduction to Pulp & Paper Technologies Course (IPP), both taking place January 12–15, 2026, at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront in St. Petersburg, Florida.
These comprehensive, four-day programs offer professionals across the pulp and paper industry an unparalleled opportunity to strengthen their technical expertise, connect with peers, and gain practical knowledge that can be applied immediately to improve operations, efficiency, and safety.
Kraft Recovery Operations Course (KROS)
Led by experienced industry experts, this premier technical course provides an in-depth overview of the entire kraft recovery cycle, from black liquor evaporation and combustion to recausticizing and lime kiln operations. Participants will learn strategies to enhance energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, and address key challenges faced in today’s recovery operations.

Introduction to Pulp & Paper Technologies Course (IPP)
TAPPI’s highly regarded IPP course offers a thorough introduction to the fundamental processes and technologies behind modern papermaking. Designed for all experience levels, this program covers the complete manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products.

Registration and Accommodations
Early registration is encouraged to take advantage of discounted rates before December 15, 2025, early bird deadline. Special group rates are also available for teams of three or more from the same location.
Both courses will be held at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront, where TAPPI has arranged a special group hotel rate of $209 per night (available through December 22, 2025).
