Stora Enso’s EUR 30 million investment to renew energy use and processes at the Heinola Fluting Mill was completed in the final quarter of 2025. As a result of the investment, solid fossil fuels at the mill have been replaced with renewable bioenergy, reducing annual greenhouse gas emissions by more than 113,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide—over 90 percent compared to previous levels.
