In Memoriam: TAPPI Member and Award Winner David Mullison Lauderbaugh

 
We mourn the loss of David Mullison Lauderbaugh who passed away in October 2025. David Lauderbaugh was a visionary leader and innovator in the corrugated machinery industry. In 1981 he founded Corrugated Gear and Sprocket which later became Corrugated Gear and Services Inc. (CG&S).  His Alpharetta based company became known for innovation including numerous patents and proprietary systems.
 
A Sustaining Corporate Member of TAPPI for 50 years, Lauderbaugh was awarded the Corrugated Packaging Division Technical Award in 2008, recognizing outstanding accomplishments or contributions which have advanced the industry's technology in the corrugated field.
 
His contributions to TAPPI and the industry will be celebrated for years to come. TAPPI sends condolences to his family and friends.
 
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming Georgia. A luncheon will follow at Corrugated Gear and Services.
