Heinzel Paper Confirmed €100/Metric Ton Price Increase for CCMs
Heinzel Paper has confirmed a €100 per metric ton price increase for its entire range of corrugated case material products, effective October 1, 2025, citing escalating cost pressures across raw materials, energy, logistics, and personnel that are affecting the entire industry.
“Price adjustment is necessary to maintain the high quality, delivery reliability, and service standards customers expect from the company, which operates as part of the Heinzel Group,” said Franz Baldauf, CFO.
The Laakirchen mill in Austria houses two containerboard machines with a combined maximum production capacity of up to 1 million metric tons per year, producing recycled corrugated case material for the European market. This marks another strategic pricing adjustment for Heinzel Paper following their conversion of paper machines to focus entirely on sustainable packaging solutions, including the recent commissioning of the rebuilt PM11 that can produce up to 470,000 metric tons annually of corrugated base paper made from 100% recycled fibres.
