TAPPI Student Chapter Members have returned to their campuses, many fresh from summer internships at mills or with supplier companies. Chapter leaders are hard at work, not just with their classes and labs, but also with recruiting and outreach to future engineering students. TAPPI students are currently volunteering for the planning and execution of the 2026 TAPPI-PIMA Student Summit, being held January 17-19 in Birmingham, AL. Led by Summit planning co-chair, Michael Reuss, a senior at Auburn University, students are taking charge of activities, session chairing, mentoring new student groups, and fully supporting the event for their fellow students. 

 

TAPPI Student Chapters can be found on campuses around the U.S. and one in France. Many more are working on starting up or coming back online with new leadership.
