The Young Professionals (YP) Division concludes their summer webinar series on AI today. The weekly series kicked off in July with AI for Predictive Maintenance in Paper Mills, presented by Gokul Gopakumar,  Vice President of Technology and Business Development at SUN Automation Group.

 

The following week, attendees engaged with Mariana Sandin, Sr. Industry Principal, and Philip Pearce, Senior Solutions Consultant, both from Seeq Corporation. Their webinar - Smarter Every Day: How AI Is Powering the Future of Operations - covered different ways that AI is influencing analytics and what does it look like in an industrial context.

 

The final webinar being presented today is titled Smart Papermaking: AI-Driven Process Optimization and features a presentation from Zach Flannery, data scientist at Sappi. Zach will moderate the previous speakers in a lively Q&A on using AI to improve quality and consistency.
