Synthetic filtration materials are essential for high-performance applications across demanding industrial environments and transportation applications. Materials deliver superior filtration through higher efficiency, greater dust-holding capacity, and exceptional durability—even under the most demanding operating conditions.
The line will produce materials with up to 100% synthetic fiber composition, including optional fiber blends of glass and/or cellulose. It supports both, single and dual-layer filter material designs and includes saturation and corrugation capability, ensuring flexibility and consistent performance across a broad range of filtration applications.
Next-generation materials support various industrial applications:
- HVAC systems, delivering improved indoor air quality and energy efficiency that contributes to healthier, and more sustainable indoor environments
- Process liquid and food and beverage operations, delivering increased product purity and compliance
- Gas turbine intake and air pollution control systems, safeguarding turbines from airborne contaminants in challenging environments and capturing harmful particles and emissions to support cleaner air
- Engine oil, fuel, and transmission systems that power the next era of mobility, ensuring fluids cleanliness and protecting critical engine components
“The investment expands our industrial filtration technology offering in North American markets. We are committed to regional growth, advancing sustainable innovation, and broadening our portfolio of high-performance filtration materials for the industrial sector”, says Willy Bordignon, Vice President, Filtration Americas at Ahlstrom.
