Industry Experts Wanted: Help Develop a New TAPPI Recyclability Test Method

Print this Article | Send to Colleague

TAPPI is seeking volunteers to join the Standards Specific Interest Group (SSIG) to assist with the review of a new proposed TAPPI Test Method titled Recycling Compatible Packaging Test Method.

This test method will provide an indication of whether the materials used in the construction of fiber product are adequately repulped and are unlikely to contribute to runnability or product quality problems for a paper recycling facility.

The SSIG will review, develop, and refine the method to support the industry's growing need for reliable recyclability assessments in fiber-based packaging.
