Remembering Eric Fletty

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and former colleague, Eric Fletty.  Eric worked for TAPPI from 1999 to 2017. He was a long-standing and cherished member of our team and the TAPPI community. For nearly two decades at TAPPI, he had unwavering dedication, boundless energy, and genuine passion for both people and the paper and packaging industry.
 
To those who had the privilege of working alongside him, Eric was a true advocate and supporter of the industry. Whether it was guiding new volunteers, collaborating with team members, or simply lending an ear, he brought warmth, humor, and sincerity to every interaction.
 
We will remember his infectious smile and the unmistakable spark of energy he brought with him wherever he went. He had a gift for lifting spirits, for bringing people together, and for making everyone feel seen and valued.
 
We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
 
As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his life, his contributions, and the countless memories he leaves behind.
