North American Mills Recycle Less Intensively

Print this Article | Send to Colleague

According to FisherSolve®, mills in North America that use recycled fiber average just 64% recycled furnish. By contrast, mills in Latin America (89.1%), Africa (90%), Asia Pacific (91.6%), Europe (91.7%), and the Middle East (96.9%) average above 90% when they recycle. This shows that while North America has more mills using recycled fiber, those mills tend to use it in smaller proportions than their global peers.
