Heinzel Paper is set to increase prices for corrugated case material as of the start of the fourth quarter amid cost pressures.

Austria's packaging paper manufacturer Heinzel Paper has announced a price increase for its entire range of corrugated case material products. The asking price hike amounts to €100/t and is planned for implementation as of 1 October.

According to Heinzel Paper, the price increase is necessary due to cost developments for raw materials, energy, logistics, and personnel, which are affecting the entire industry.

“With this step, we are ensuring that we can continue to offer the high quality, delivery reliability, and service that our customers expect from us,” explains Franz Baldauf, CFO of the company.

Heinzel Paper, part of Heinzel group, produces recycled corrugated case material at its Laakirchen mill in Austria. The mill houses two containerboard machines with a combined maximum production capacity of up to 1 million tpy.
