Join hospitality industry professionals from around the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area for HUG D.C. 2014 on Friday, June 6, 2014 at the Carnegie Library at Mt. Vernon Square (convenient to Mt. Vernon/Convention Center Metro Station and Gallery Place Chinatown).

HUG D.C. is a day of volunteer service created with the aim of giving the Washington, D.C., hospitality community a way to give back to the city that gives so much to it. The PMPI Community Outreach Committee is designing this service day that allows our entire hospitality community to show how much giving back means to them – all at once. Next June, join us as we complete multiple community service projects concurrently across the D.C. community, creating the most impact for our neighbors. We will give back to schools, food pantries, the military and more!

On June 6, 2014, our teams will gather at the Carnegie Library to kick off the day with a rally before going out for a day of community service. At the end of the day, we’ll celebrate a job well done with a closing ceremony and networking event back at the library.

We look forward to seeing all of you lend a hand to HUG D.C. and help make a difference in the lives of those in need. To get involved or sponsor this event, contact Community Outreach Committee co-chair Tabatha Gilmore at tabatha.gilmore@destinationdc.com.
