Be the Change: MPI Potomac on Ice

Wednesday, February 15
5 - 7 p.m.
Silver Spring Ice Skating Rink

Join us for a heart-healthy activity by skating your way into February 2023!

As meeting professionals, we need more awareness of heart health. This was amplified on January 3, 2023, when many of us were shocked by the cardiac arrest of Buffalo Bills' Cornerback Damar Hamlin during a Monday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

As meeting professionals, we must know the signs of cardiac arrest as well as what to do, and organizations like the American Heart Association provide these necessary tools. Also, with many women in this profession, we are excited to support AHA's Go Red for Women initiative since heart disease is the leading cause of death for women.

Not a skater? No worries! You can still join us at the rink to mix and mingle with the other attendees and to cheer on the skaters as they show off their skills.

Event proceeds will go to the American Heart Association.

"The MPI Potomac study group played an important role in my passing the CMP exam this year. The course was so well organized, and I often found myself going back to the on-demand videos to brush up on topics. The instructors were highly knowledgeable and did a great job making a large amount of material manageable and engaging. I’d highly recommend this course to anyone preparing for the exam."
