Regional Meetings Close to Home
As meetings trend to regional, planners see the value in choosing smaller destinations, close to home. Why not consider the #3 Top Best Small City in the U.S. (Condé Nast Travelers 2019) right in your backyard?  Easily drivable for staff and attendees, Alexandria and our hospitality partners are ready to welcome you back with the Alexandria Promise and much more.
See why Alexandria is now, more than ever, the perfect destination.

Becoming a board member of an international association like MPI for the first time is intimidating, to say the least. I interviewed Evan Nielson, director of member engagement and community outreach, Leila Beltramo, director of leadership and diversity, equity and inclusion, and Lura Bobbitt, director of member retention and recognition. Each shared how they became the chapter’s board member for the first time, a summary of the process, the kinds of support you receive and the benefits of serving at a board level.

November is Military Family Appreciation Month, a time to honor the life and service of military families that work behind the scenes to support our country’s servicemen and servicewomen.
