The Marketing & PR Committee is dedicated to the promotion of all MPI Potomac events and initiatives throughout the year. Collaboration is our main task, working with all committees to ensure we have the information needed to promote the events being executed by other committees. We promote these events or initiatives through social media, email marketing and direct mailer marketing. Whether its creating a buzz on social media for our monthly E2 events, live tweeting and uploading pictures, or highlighting our amazing membership, we do it all!
Members of this committee are involved with all different types of marketing: social media posts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIN), creating email copy to drive registration for our events; marketing for MACE!, our biggest event of the year; creating PowerPoints of our sponsors for events; staying engaged with our membership through social media; and much more!
Interested in becoming more engaged, but hesitant based on your already-packed schedule? The Marketing & PR team might be a perfect fit for you! Outside of our monthly committee call, which usually lasts no more than 30 minutes, the time commitment is flexible. We have a multitude of tasks ranging from uploading pictures from our last event to working on a marketing plan for our largest events. Whether you have 10 minutes or an hour to give, we have something for everyone!
