MPI Potomac is proud to have some of the most incredible member volunteers working with us to move our chapter forward. The STAR Award is just one small way to recognize those exceptional individuals and thank them for their time and dedication.

We will be recognizing our STARS at the May 24 Educational Experience, so we need your nominations now. Deadline is May 19, 2017.
Volunteer with American Experience Foundation
Upcoming volunteer opportunities with American Experience Foundation students:
  • Columbia Heights Educational Campus: Advisory Portfolio Presentations (oral presentations on the semester coursework) by students, need five volunteers to judge on Thursday, June 8 (10:10-11:35 a.m.) and Friday, June 9 (11:40 a.m.-1 p.m., 1:50-3:15 p.m.).
  • American Experience Foundation and Destination DC have secured a field trip with Kelly Miller Middle School for Monday, June 12 and need about three volunteers on the trip. This will be from 7 a.m. pick up at the school until about 8 p.m. drop off at the school. We are working on two field trips for out of town students in July and September, dates TBD and will have more details to come.
