This year the Community Outreach Committee has partnered with Martha’s Table of DC to help make a positive difference.

We have set up an opportunity for you to help! Come join your generous fellow PMPI members in helping those in need as we prepare a community Sunday lunch on April 1st, 2012. We need volunteers for a two hour time slot between the hours of 11 am-3 pm. Volunteers will be onsite at Martha’s Table headquarters, located near 14th and U Street, NW in DC.

We are proud to be helping such an amazing organization. On any given day, 12,000 of DC's children, families and individuals are homeless or in need of food. The food program meets immediate needs by providing more than 600,000 nutritious meals per year. Martha’s Table provides meals to the homeless 365 days a year at various sites throughout the city, as well as meals to senior shut-ins and community holiday meals.

Unable to be "hands on" at the event? You can still help!! We are looking for food donations to supply Martha’s Table with everything they need for the dinner. Time and donations are much appreciated as we help join together to make our community an even greater place.
