November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Please support the fight against lung cancer by participating in Breathe Deep DC, a 5K walk on Sunday, Nov. 7th at 9 am on the National Mall.

Although lung cancer is the leading cancer killer in the United States, accounting for 30% of all cancer deaths, lung cancer research funding lags far behind other cancers. Proceeds from the event will benefit the LUNGevity Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to funding innovative lung cancer research and supporting people affected by the disease. Please register online by November 5th to walk, form a team or make a donation at www.lungevity.org/dcwalk.
