A Global Generosity Movement

MPI is more than just a chapter of industry professionals. It’s a chapter of people who care. On Dec. 3, we joined together to show our Potomac Pride on Giving Tuesday — a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.

This year, we are proud to partner with our local Mid-Atlantic Make a Wish. Parents, health professionals and volunteers agree that a wish empowers wish kids to fight harder against their illnesses. Every wish brings a little more kindness and joy into the world.

Many wishes are to attend an experiential event (think, the Super Bowl!), be a boss in a big company, go snorkeling, simply give back to their pediatric oncology units or just get the chance push the buttons in a tall building’s elevator. Their innocence and unexpected wisdom stay with you.

Our industry can unlock endless possibilities. Consider donating your hotel points, your airline miles or even some of your hard-earned money. For every wish granted (450-plus in 2018), one child is waiting. Your local support is truly needed!
