Dear OSCA Members:

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I am incredibly excited to officially begin my term as OSCA President in January 2024, replacing the valued leadership of our outgoing President, Susi Dupuis. I am so
honoured to be part of such an important professional association, one that I have been a member for several years. I have come to think of OSCA as a proactive professional organization dedicated to advancing guidance and career education. OSCA’s mission is to actively promote policies and practices that recognize and enhance the critical role of guidance in education as well as promote exemplary standards in guidance and career education that contribute to the success and well-being of students.

In addition, OSCA is committed to providing its members with resources they need to excel in their roles as we continue to serve as a hub for professional development ensuring that our members stay informed and well equipped. OSCA will continue to build strong relationships and continue to foster collaboration with other industry stakeholders in the pursuit of educational excellence.

OSCA will be celebrating 60 years in 2024 and we are thrilled to see everyone at the Fall Conference in November.

Thank you for being part of OSCA. Together, we are shaping the future of guidance and career education in Ontario.

Wishing you success and fulfillment in all your endeavours.

Sincerely,
Lisa Butera-Fracassi
President, OSCA
