LANCEMENT D'UN NOUVEAU SITE WEB POUR LES JEUNES - DEVENIR UN.E ENSEIGNANT.E FLS EN ONTARIO 

Canadian Parents for French (Ontario) a le plaisir de vous annoncer le lancement d'un nouveau site Web bilingue nommé SayOui.ca.

Développé par CPF Ontario, SayOui.ca s’adresse aux étudiant.e.s du secondaire et du postsecondaire qui explorent leur futur cheminement de carrière. SayOui.ca inspire et informe les jeunes à devenir enseignant.e.s de français langue seconde (FLS).

Voici les objectifs de SayOui.ca :

- Sensibiliser les jeunes au manque d'enseignant.e.s FLS et au besoin grandissant de cette profession.

- Identifier des programmes expérientiels pour les jeunes afin d'améliorer leurs compétences en français.

- Décrire les parcours éducatifs pour devenir enseignant.e en Ontario et les qualifications nécessaires pour enseigner en français langue seconde dans la province.

- Fournir des liens des universités de l'Ontario qui offrent des programmes menant à des postes d'enseignant du FLS, en mettant en évidence les caractéristiques uniques de leurs programmes.

PLAN DE COURS ET QUIZ

Le site Web contient un plan de cours lié au curriculum Orientation et formation au cheminement de carrière de la 9e à la 12e année pour le programme de base, le programme intensif et le programme d'immersion en français. Pour accéder à ce plan de cours, cliquez sur « Plans de cours SayOui » en bas de la page du site Web. En haut de la page d’accueil, vous trouverez un Quiz pour les jeunes leur permettant d’explorer si ce choix de carrière est bon pour eux.

INTRODUCING NEW WEB PORTAL FOR YOUTH– ON BECOMING AN FSL TEACHER IN ONTARIO

 

Canadian Parents for French (Ontario) is excited to announce the launch of a new bilingual website named SayOui.ca.

Developed by CPF Ontario, the goal of SayOui.ca is to motivate secondary and post-secondary students to explore becoming a French as a Second Language (FSL) teacher.

Here are the objectives of SayOui.ca:

- Promote greater awareness of the demand to meet the pressing shortage of FSL teachers.

- Identify experiential programs for youth to enhance French language skills while studying.

- Outline the educational paths to become a teacher in Ontario with proficiency in French and qualifications to teach French as a Second Language in the province.

- Provide links to all Faculties of Education in Ontario which offer programming that leads to FSL teaching positions, and highlights the unique characteristics of these programs.

LESSON PLAN AND QUIZ

The website offers a unique lesson plan for teachers linked to the grade 9 to grade 12 curriculum. It will support classroom activities in Guidance and Career Education in Core, Extended and French Immersion classes. To access the lesson plan, click on the ‘Lesson Plans’ on the footer of the website.SayOui.ca

There is also on the top menu of the site a Quiz for students to explore if this profession is a good fit for them.
