LIVESTREAM LEARNING - AN UPDATE ON OUR PROGRAMMING!

The CCGSD has been working to improve our online learning for youth across Canada in accordance with the health guidelines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our Ontario Forums program has worked to create Lunch and Learn Livestreams on our Facebook Page. Here, we present our favourite workshops and viewers can drop in, watch, comment, and interact with us live! We've presented youth-focussed workshops such as Gender & Sexuality 101, Intersecting Identities, Introduction to Anti-Oppression, and Queer History!

We're happy to announce that we'll have more coming in November. We have six streams lined up for the month. The dates and times are below; no registration required. Just make sure you like our Facebook Page so you don't miss each stream!

Monday, November 9th - 10:30-12:00pm
Tuesday, November 10th - 10:30-12:00pm
Wednesday, November 11th - 10:30-12:00pm

Monday, November 23rd - 10:30-12:00pm
Tuesday, November 24th - 10:30-12:00pm
Wednesday, November 25th - 10:30-12:00pm

In addition to this, we've been hosting FREE biweekly digital youth conferences on Blackboard Learn! These sessions contain three workshops each and can be adapted to many grade levels. Our Blackboard conferences this month are below:

Friday, November 13th - 9:30-1:00pm
Friday, November 27th - 9:30-1:00pm

If you're interested in a Blackboard conference for your school, email ahmed@ccgsd-ccdgs.org to register.

If these dates don't work for you this month, you can book a FREE digital conference for your school. Digital conferences run for 180-225 minutes of learning. Reach out to community@ccgsd-ccdgs.org if you’d like to book a day-long event.

Don't want a full-day event? We offer hour-long workshop sessions digitally across Ontario. Please reach out to eliot@ccgsd-ccdgs.org to book a single workshop for your classroom.

Athletics-based learning environments may enjoy a workshop on Sports Inclusion. Contact sports@ccgsd-ccdgs.org to book a virtual Sports workshop.
