Dear guidance counsellors,

Did you not have a chance to connect with us at the 2019 OSCA Conference on October 17-18? Here’s an overview of what CPA Ontario can offer you as a guidance counsellor and to your high school students:

Guidance counsellors

Request a resource package which includes resources for you, your guidance office, and students regarding the CPA designation.

Receive knowledge on the CPA designation to advise students on the career opportunities available with the designation.

Join the FREE Teacher Colleague Program (TCP)  to get access to exclusive classroom resources available through our online portal, including case studies which can be used in your classrooms to develop students’ problem solving skills, and the ability to request classroom workshops from the student recruitment team.

High school students

If you have students who are interested in developing their transferable skills, please let them know about CPA Ontario’s High School Ambassador Program (HAP). Registration is FREE and students can sign up here.

This year’s HAP benefits include:

  • A chance to shine in the CPA video competition, CPA Showcase, with a top prize of $1,000
  • An invitation to participate in CPA Ontario’s social media competition, CPA InstaChallenge, with chances to win various prizes in October, February and May
  • A shot at winning up to $500 through the CPA Ontario essay competition, Write to Ignite
  • An opportunity to attend No Limits, a full-day conference to network with CPA professionals, participate in panel discussions and much more (hosted at various locations, including Toronto, Kitchener/Waterloo, and Ottawa, depending on the year)
  • Professional development opportunities through our HUBS articles

For any questions and inquiries regarding the FREE resources we can offer you and your students, please contact getinvolved@cpaontario.ca

We look forward to connecting with you!
