The 2019 Kelman Scholarship deadline is May 24, 2019!

Do you know a grade 12 student attending university in the next school year? Is he/she interested in pursuing education related to water quality? If so, encourage him/her to apply for the 2019 Kelman Scholarship by May 24, 2019.

Eligibility: The Kelman Scholarship has been established to support an outstanding Ontario secondary school student who is interested in the protection of water quality and is planning on attending a post-secondary institution in a related field of study within the next year.

Entry requirement: Applicants must prepare a 500-word essay outlining his/her interests in environmental issues related to water quality protection and how he/she might use these interests as an educational and career opportunity. Essay must accompany a completed application form and teacher reference.

Award: The scholarship is $500 and is provided by Craig Kelman and Associates Ltd., the publisher of WEAO's INFLUENT magazine. The selected student will also receive one-year free student membership for the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and Water Environment Association of Ontario (WEAO), as well as recognition in INFLUENTS!
