Tuition Help for Canadians in their Final Years of Study

With the weak Canadian dollar, many Canadian students in their final years of study feel the pinch and often experience financial difficulty with making those final tuition payments. The pressure of rising living costs, rent, tuition, and study can be a mental burden that impacts their academic success and ability to graduate.

With graduation quickly approaching, this may be weighing on students and your student affairs office.

Specsavers Canada has made a unique forgivable loan available to support students with achieving their dreams of becoming an optometrist by making $25,000 CAD accessible within their fourth year.

How it works: Fourth year students and new graduates eligible to work in Canada can qualify for up to a $100,000 CAD forgivable loan for a three-year commitment at select clinics in the Specsavers network.

Qualified students and new graduates of the forgivable loan will receive:

The repayment of the loan amounts is forgiven on completion of the third year practiced and is based on five clinic days with every other weekend off. Associates with a forgivable loan also receive a high daily minimum or percentage of fees, whichever is higher.
