Future Faculty Program now Accepting Applications

ASCO has announced that it is now accepting applications from optometry residents and graduate students for its 2022-2023 Future Faculty Program (FFP).

FFP is a mentored program taking place virtually from January through March 2023 and beginning with an online orientation on December 14, 2022. The program is appropriate for both those considering clinical teaching positions and those seeking research-oriented faculty positions.

In this program, residents and graduate students will:

Synchronous sessions will be held biweekly. Mentorship assignments will officially last for one year but may informally continue throughout the participant’s career. Program participants will be awarded a certificate upon successful completion of this program.

Applications are being accepted electronically.

Registration is only $25. Applications will be accepted until November 15, 2022, or until ASCO’s registration cap is reached. Space is limited, so we encourage early applications.

All topics will have an asynchronous component (ex: lecture to view, article to read) and a synchronous group discussion which will meet over Zoom at 6 p.m. Pacific/9 p.m. Eastern on the following dates:
