Dr. Kate Hamm Joins Luxottica Eye Care to Lead OD Engagement
Dr. Kate Hamm recently joined the Luxottica Eye Care Team as the new Senior Manager of OD Engagement. In this role, she will work to strengthen the connection between the doctor community and Luxottica. She brings with her an OD perspective that will provide guidance to the team and is looking forward to using her passion for optometry to help identify new opportunities to enrich relationship and build community amongst Luxottica-affiliated doctors.
“I am excited to begin this next chapter in my career and am looking forward to connecting with you all to find ways to support you and your practices to provide excellent care to your patients,” Hamm said of her new position.
A Kansas City native, Dr. Hamm stayed in state for college, attending Kansas State University, before continuing her education at UMSL College of Optometry (’19). During optometry school, Kate filled many leadership roles, performed visual perceptual research and advocated for optometrists all over the country. Prior to Luxottica, she interned at Essilor on the professional development team before joining a private practice in Wichita, KS.
