ASCO staff exhibited at the National Society of High School Scholar’s (NSHSS) Day in Atlanta on November 22-23, 2019 to promote optometry as a career choice to high achieving high school students across the nation. Nearly 1,200 scholars, parents and educators were in attendance. This was their largest event of the year.
Founded in 2002, NSHSS has inducted more than 1.5 million members from over 170 countries, with more than 100,000 new scholars joining annually. Their mission is to recognize academic excellence and honor the highest achieving high school students, providing them with the resources and network to excel in college, career and community.
