AEVR Announces Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) Congressional Briefing
To be held November 14 at 12 p.m. in House Rayburn Room 2075, this first-ever TED Briefing features Raymond Douglas, MD, PhD (Cedars-Sinai Medical Center) speaking about the active and inactive phases of the disease and the quality of life implications for patients, as well as current research and clinical trials for TED treatments.

On the new web site, AEVR has posted a summary of the September 18 International AMD Awareness Week Congressional Briefing, which featured NEI Intramural researcher Kapil Bharti, PhD speaking about NEI’s first-in-human clinical trial of a therapy for dry AMD using induced pluripotent stem cells.
