Southern College of Optometry Announces Promotions

Southern College of Optometry (SCO) announces three promotions for key leadership roles within the institution's Student Services department. The department oversees the Admissions and Records process, student governance, financial aid, and other key functions.

Raquel Logan has been named Director of Admissions and Student Services. She previously served as Assistant Director. Along with the overall admissions process, she will also serve as SCO's Registrar. 

Avery Cunningham has been named Assistant Director of Admissions and Student Services after previously serving as Student Services and Admissions Officer. Along with managing many of the day-to-day aspects of admissions, she will also oversee SCO's New Student Orientation and Housing Fair events.

Tara Pannell was named Student Services and Admissions Officer. She previously served as an Administrative Assistant for the department. Along with being an admissions counselor, she will handle many of SCO's special recruiting events and will continue to manage the excused absence process for students.
