Bausch + Lomb Launched AMD Awareness Month Social Media Campaign

In February, Bausch + Lomb launched a social media campaign that highlighted educational resources and raised awareness of Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), a leading cause of vision loss affecting millions of Americans 50 years of age and older1,2.

The campaign consisted of social content that provided facts around the disease, shared tips for helping to slow the progression of AMD, and highlighted the importance of receiving regular comprehensive eye exams. The educational resources were shared on Bausch + Lomb’s social media platforms as well as on their SightMatters Facebook page, which is an online community for people with AMD. The campaign ran throughout February, which was AMD Awareness Month.
