Differentiating Our Practice with Topcon Technology

Dr. Theresa Radtke, an optometrist specializing in comprehensive vision and medical exams in Clifton, New Jersey, appreciates how Topcon equipment has enhanced her optometry practice.
Dr. Radtke said, “Upon opening InSight Eye & Vision Care, I knew I could not practice without a good fundus camera and OCT. Since we did not have much space, I felt the Maestro OCT with fundus camera and its 360⁰ rotating monitor was our best option. Having this OCT technology has allowed us to manage conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration, which has not only helped our patients stay compliant with care, but has also helped to build our medical practice.
The Maestro’s anterior segment abilities have also allowed my practice to start offering scleral contact lens and corneal services. To grow this area of the practice further, we brought in the Topcon CA-800 Corneal Analyzer. This has significantly increased our scleral lens fittings and dry eye treatment and management services.
The true workhorse of our practice is the CV-5000 digital phoropter. Ever since the CV-5000 was implemented, our patients have marveled at the new technology and ease of testing while our workflow efficiencies have improved. The standard setting removes a lot of the guess work that give patients test-taking anxiety.
