Actions:

  • Approved minutes from October 2020 SIG meeting (virtual)
  • Voted for next year’s steering committee co-chair member and welcomed new 2022 chair
  • Congratulations to Tiffany Witherspoon, WUCO as the new CED SIG Chair, and Melissa Vitek, Salus University as CED SIG Chair-elect 2022                                                                          
  • Announced time and date of Fall 2022 AAO SIG meeting in San Diego, California (location TBD) Academy in-person meeting scheduled for October 28, 8-12 p.m. Working meetings and additional meetings will be scheduled as needed
  • A working group was formed to include Dr. Richard Madonna, SUNY and Melissa Vitek, Salus to look at questions used at Academy as a resource and create a survey to collect data for better educational outcomes
