At the end of June, Salus University’s Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) hosted their 40th annual “Optometry Learning Experience” (OLE) as an opportunity for prospective optometry students to gain insight into life at PCO. What was once a two-week long stay at PCO is now a two-and-a-half-day experience for undergraduate students to take tours of the campus and the university’s clinical facility, the eye institute, attend lectures with current PCO students, watch a clinical skills demonstration and more.

This year’s OLE attendees came from Rowan University, University of Pittsburgh Greensburg, Shippensburg University, Seton Hall University and Binghamton University.
