The Ontario Construction Secretariat (OCS) provides an Economic update on investment, employment and permits.

 

 

 

Construction is complicated, yet it is often generalized as lagging behind other industries when it comes to the adoption of new technologies and processes. We want to know how, and most importantly why, you don’t use technology. 

 

The OGCA Safety Advisory Committee was created by our members for our members, and welcome you to join us. The Committee meets monthly with updates from both the CPO and the MLITSD as well as timely industry updates. Each OGCA member company is welcome to provide one delegate for these meetings. With the drastic increase in cyber attacks and ransom demands becoming more prevalent in our industry, construction needs to ensure that our contractors are protected. This is why Canada created its national cybersecurity standard, CAN/CIOSC 104, to prescribe a set of up to 55 cybersecurity controls that all organizations, but specifically small and medium-sized organizations, need to implement to stay safe from cyber threats.
