Ontario Enters the Second State of Emergency, Construction is Restricted but Mostly Open

Today, the Ontario government has announced that Ontario will be immediately put into a second State of Emergency under s 7.0.1 (1) of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act (EMPCA). The state of emergency will include a province-wide stay-at-home order and introduce a new set of essential and non-essential businesses effective 12:01 a.m. Thursday, January 14.
