The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) is happy to share their submission to the Minister of Infrastructure and Communities’ legislative review of the mandate, operations and relevancy of the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB).
The “2024” edition of the National Concrete Standard “CSA A23.1 Concrete Materials & Methods of Concrete Construction” is open for Public Review comments until April 29.
 
CSA A23.1 includes many mandatory clauses on cement & concrete materials, concrete production & delivery, reinforcing, formwork, concrete ordering & receiving, testing & inspection, placing & finishing tolerances, curing & jointing. This Standard is not only a National Building Code reference, but also a problem avoidance guide for all Concrete Construction.
