At the request of Safety Committee Chairman Craig Lesurf, OGCA has started holding a short Safety Moment as part of their Board of Directors meetings as well as Safety Committee meetings. One member related a story about a near incident on a job site where the presence of a flag person saved a passerby from serious injury by a truck backing up. Members are encouraged to keep safety top of mind AT ALL TIMES!

Another great success at the OGCA / A.R. Timms Memorial Golf Tournament, held at Glencairn Golf Course in Milton. Beautiful weather! Lots of amenities, including cigars, smoothies, espresso and an ice cream truck! We even had a drone looking over us!
  
This year's conference will feature a presentation during dinner at the District Architectural Centre by Canadian Ambassador to the United States, David MacNaughton. Several board members of the District Architectural Centre will be invited to attend the dinner, as well as members of the local Associated General Contractors Association.
