TENDER OPPORTUNITY: Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, in Tobermory, Ontario

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada would like to share information about a new tender opportunity. The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the north and west walls at the Tobermory (Little Tub) Harbour. The facility is located at 19 Bay Street on the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula, in the traditional territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation.   

The work involves encapsulating the existing timber crib (north) and steel sheet pile (west) walls with new steel sheet piling and a concrete deck. The north wall will also include timber overlay and curbs. Other associated work to include the removal and reinstatement of existing harbour accessories, installation of new tie rods, anchors walls, toe anchors, pile cap, fenders, water/electrical stations and safety ladders as well as asphalt paving.
