Day of Mourning

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

The Day of Mourning is a time for remembrance, but also a time when many choose to share their personal stories to honour their loved ones and their own experience, and to help others understand the impact of a death, serious injury or illness caused simply by going to work. We at the League of Champions encourage everyone to schedule some time April 28 to reflect.

Please see the below links to participate in Day of Mourning online events:

Threads of Life: On Day of Mourning, walk with those who’ve experienced tragedy. Join Threads of Life’s brief online ceremony. Light a candle of your own and renew your resolve to work safely. And if you need someone to walk with you, know that Threads of Life is here to be that companion. National Day of Mourning - April 28 | Threads of Life
