A new initiative spearheaded by the Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC) to address your frequently asked questions about standard documents will begin in October. CCDC Document Webinars is a series of webinars designed to provide simple, yet comprehensive answers related to the suite of standard documents. The webinars are short to fit easily into your schedule and will focus on the basics to ensure easy and comprehensive use.

CCDC 9 webinar
CCDC’s kickoff webinar will cover the widely used CCDC 9 Statutory Declaration of Progress Payment Distribution. The CCDC 9 has been signed over half a million times annually in Canada and is one of the most popular standard construction documents in circulation. While only a page in length, CCDC 9 is CCDC’s most inquired-about document, particularly because there can be serious consequences if a Statutory Declaration is completed incorrectly. The CCDC Secretary will explain everything there is to know about the CCDC 9 forms, including the legal implications of a Statutory Declaration, how and when to properly prepare and submit one, as well as who is qualified to sign such forms as declarants and witnesses. The registration fee for the webinar is $45 plus applicable taxes.
