The 2021 Virtual Skills Ontario Competition & Career Exploration Showcase will run on May 12 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (EST). Register at skillsontariovsoc.vfairs.ca/!

The Skills Ontario Competition is an incredible display of our future skilled workforce! It’s also a chance for Ontarians to connect with employers and advocates and a great way to support the skilled trades and technologies. We’ve been running our competition in-person for over 30 years, and we’re proud to deliver this event in a virtual format in 2021. With contests running remotely, a virtual career showcase hosting several booths, a scavenger hunt, and more, we’re aiming to capture the excellence and magnitude of our Skills Ontario Competition virtually. With the event being online, spectators from anywhere in the province can visit from the comfort of their own home – no need to travel!

Just like our in-person event, we’re running conferences in conjunction with the Skills Ontario Competition! Our Young Women’s Conference and First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Conference will return, with the hands-on learning and mentorship for which Skills Ontario is known. On May 13, we’ll be hosting a Closing Ceremony where we’ll be announcing the winners of the virtual contests!
